Computer Camp

Computer camp is so great.It is probaly the best camp I have ever been to.We have learned so much like how to alter pictures and how to make animations.This is the best summer I have ever had.

My camp experience

The first day I was her I really didn't want to be here because I thought it might be borring but I was proved wrong. We first learn how to blog thats when you write about a topic.Then we went on the computer and put all the words we said in a sentence.After that we had to publish it.


We also learned how to make a flipp book on the computer it was hard at first but then you get a hang of it.And we also got to play the Wii witch was my favorite but not better then spending the last few weeks with Mrs.Melissa and Mr.Scott I'll miss you guys

Last Day of Computer Camp

Last Day Of Computer Camp

It's the last day of computer camp.It has been a fun 2 weeks. Ms.Melisa and Mr.Scott were the nicest and the best teachers ever. I really enjoyed computer camp this year.

Last day of Computer Camp

I was so excited when Mr. Scott asked me to help out with Computer Camp this year. I heard about all the fun things we would be doing like podcasting, animating, and shooting movies, and I couldn't believe we could do it all in just one week! Today is the last day of camp and we have completed all of that and more. I had a great time meeting new students and learning about new technologies. I think all of us improved our skills and had a really good time.

My favorite part of computer camp was when we were working with Photoshop. I love to make art out of something other than a blank canvas. I also really liked going to Albany Institute of History and Art. The tour and activity really helped me understand the use of color.

Even though everyone thinks that kids and librarians must be naturally really good with computers, I think this camp proved to me that there are always new technologies to discover, and plenty of need for practice. I know I learned a LOT.

Thanks a lot to all the kids of Computer Camp for making this such a special and enjoyable experience for me.

I would love to visit Iceland!

Iceland is a country in the North Atlantic Ocean between Canada and the United Kingdom. The island is slightly smaller than the state of Kentucky. They have the longest running lawmaking assembly, Althing, first meeting in the year 930 AD.

I admire not only their beautiful countryside, but also their government structure and economy. Iceland functions under capitalism, but supplements its population's stability with a generous and widespread welfare program for those in need. Literacy and employment is 99%. A PLACE LIKE TO VISIT

A place I like to visit is Florida.I like to visit this place because it has Disney Land in it.Florida is the 4th most populous state in the USA.It was named by Juan Ponce Leon.It is one of the largest states East of the Mississippi River.Florida's extensive coastline made it a perceived target during World War II.

I've wanted to go to Hawaii because of it's natural color and most of the people are nice to each other.Also Hawaii is not a country but it's a state.I think Hawaii is famous for family vacations and there beautiful flower's.The most significant thing's about Hawaii is that they have summer all year around . They also have gorges hotels and they have a good school service

The location I chose is Tokyo. I chose this location because TokyoPop is a company in Tokyo and I am a fan of TokyoPop. Tokyo is in a country named Japan. Tokyo is famous for being the capital of Japan and being very populated. Tokyo is a popular setting for media, is home to TokyoPop, and is a big producer in technology.

The majority of the effects on 'I'm Flying' was done with a filter called Find Edges. I also copied the fish on the left hand side a few times to increase symmetry.

Someone I admire is Langston Hughes.He was born February 1 1902 and he died May 22 1967.He was one of the most impoprtant poets to the Harlem Renaissance.He was the first African American to put a play on broadway.In 1930 he won the Harmon Gold Medal for his book "Not Without Laghter".In1960,the NAACP awarded Langston the Spingran Medal.I admire Langston because he was a good man and a great poet.

He was born June 11th, 1983.He plays baseball for the New York Mets.One cool fact about Jose Reyes is that he was a National League All-Star.I admire him because he is one of the best shortstops in the MLB, and because he is on my favorite baseball team the New York Mets.

Someone I Admire

I adore Chloe in Celtic Woman. Chloe was born in June 9, 1989 in Dublin , Ireland. She is still alive today. She is famous for her singing. She performed at the Olympia Theatre.She recorded a song to raise money for children and in 2004 , she did her second album "Walking in the Air".I admire her because she has a voice like an angel.If you want to hear her songs go to youtube.
